, inIn 2007, Fick spent his first professional season with the Rookie-Level Johnson City Cardinals and the Single-A Quad Cities River Bandits in the Midwest League. He earned a win in his debut with Johnson City after pitching three innings with four strikeouts on June 20. He went 1–0 with 12 strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA in eight games. Fick debuted for Quad Cities of the Midwest League on July 27 and tossed two scoreless innings. He went 1–0 with 15 strikeouts and a 2.16 ERA in nine games. He went a combined 2–0 with 25 strikeouts, two saves and a 1.85 ERA in 39 innings pitched.
In 2008 Fick went 6–5 with a 3.17 ERA in 20 games, 13 starts, with Quad Cities. He struck out a season-high eight on August 3. In 2009, he was promoted to the Class-A Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals, going 3–3 with a 4.92 ERA in 20 games, seven starts. With the Double-A Springfield Cardinals, Fick went 1–2 with a 1.50 ERA in 10 games, three starts. Fick went a combined 4–7 with 51 strikeouts, one save and a 3.96 ERA in 972⁄3 innings. In 2010, he advanced to the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds.

David Justin Kopp (born October 22, 1985 in Margate, Florida, USA) is a minor league baseball starting pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals farm system. He is 6'3" tall and he weighs 205 pounds.
Prior to playing professionally, Kopp attended Coral Springs High School and then Clemson University. In his first year with Clemson, 2005, he made 21 appearances (seven starts), going 4–3 with a 4.54 ERA. In 2006, he went 6–2 with a 4.32 ERA in 20 games (seven starts). 2007 was his final year with Clemson, and he went 6–3 with a 3.79 ERA in 18 starts. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the 2nd round of the 2007 amateur draft.
Kopp began his professional career in 2007, pitching for the Batavia Muckdogs. He made two starts, going 0–1 with a 0.00 ERA – he gave up a single run, though it was unearned. In 2008, pitching for the GCL Cardinals and Palm Beach Cardinals, Kopp went 1–3 with a 3.86 ERA in 12 games (eight starts). He went 6–4 with a 3.89 ERA in 20 games (18 starts) in 2009, pitching for the Palm Beach Cardinals and Springfield Cardinals. In 2010, he went 12–9 with a 3.97 ERA in 26 starts pitching for the Springfield Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds.[1]

Jeffrey Turner "Jeff" Lyman (born January 14, 1987) is a minor league baseball pitcher who has pitched in the Atlanta Braves, Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals organizations.
Lyman was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2nd round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. He was added to the 40-man roster after the 2009 season to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft.
On July 2, 2010, Lyman was claimed off waivers from Atlanta by Oakland and was DFA on September 14, 2010.
He is currently pitching for the Palm Beach Cardinals in the Cardinals organization.
A scouting report noted that Lyman has "a good sinking changeup." As a teenager on a beach in Maui, Lyman recognized Major League Baseball star pitcher Trevor Hoffman, who proceeded to show his famous changeup to Lynam.[2]

Peter Parise (born December 5, 1984Bronx, New York) is a professional baseball pitcher who plays in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He is a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He played in the Independent Frontier League out of college but his contract was purchased by the Cardinals on June 17, 2007. From a young age through High School, Parise attended the Highlander Baseball Academy run by Joseph Cisco at Pelham Bay, in the Bronx.[3]
inParise began his professional career with the Slippery Rock Sliders of the Independent Frontier League. In only six games, Parise went 0–1 with 13 strikeouts and a 4.35 ERA in 101⁄3 innings pitched.[4][5]
On June 17, 2007 the Cardinals purchased Parise's contact from the Independent Frontier League. He began his Minor League debut with the Rookie-Level Johnson City Cardinals. He would earn his first career save in his first appearance on June 21. In four games Parise would be involved in no decisions and compiled two saves in 41⁄3 innings pitched. He was promoted to the Short-Season Batavia Muckdogs in the New York-Penn League on July 1. Parise earned his first career win with five scoreless innings against on July 22. With Batavia, Parise went 3–3 with a 4.58 ERA in 11 games, seven starts.
Parise split the 2008 season with the Class-A Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals and the Class-A Quad Cities River Bandits. He began the season with Quad Cities where he went 3–1 with 13 saves and a 2.23 ERA in 36 appearances. He held batters to a .186 average with runners on base. On July 1 he was promoted to Palm Beach.[6] Parise would go 2–1 with a 2.25 ERA in 11 games for Palm Beach to finish the season.
In 2009 Parise would split time between the Double-A Springfield Cardinals and the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds. He began the season with Springfield Parise would go 3–1 with 29 strikeouts and a 2.88 ERA in 25 games. He was promoted to Memphis where he would go 2–1 with 31 strikeouts, eight saves and a 4.17 ERA in 32 games. Following the season, Parise was named the Memphis Redbirds 2009 Reliever of the Year.[7]
James Rapoport (born June 25, 1985 in Westlake Village, California) is a Minor League Baseball outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals organization. From Stanford University, he was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 35th Round (1066th overall) of the 2006 amateur entry draft. He currently plays for the Class AA Springfield Cardinals.
Francisco Antonio Samuel Mercedes (born December 20, 1986 in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic) is a Minor League Baseball pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
He signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cardinals in 2006, and was added to the Cardinals' 40 man roster prior to the 2010 season. He currently plays for the Class AA Springfield Cardinals.
